Thank you for joining us for the Victims 2 Victors event held on the 14th May 2009. On this night, as a group of everyday citizens concerned for our fellow families in war torn countries, we gathered to learn how we can do more to build a culture of peace at home and abroad.  We heard from mothers and fathers, daughters and sons, sisters and brothers who strive to do more to empower families in Afghanistan.

Afghanistan & Beyond - 14 May 2009

Fellow Nova Scotian,
Join us as we hear real accounts of Afghanistan and beyond from Canadian soldier Captain Trevor Greene, delivering his first motivational speech since recovering from a near-fatal attack. An evening of forgiveness, healing, and hope, Captain Greene will be joined by Juno Award winning singer Jully Black and Gemini Award winning documentary filmmaker, PEN President, and human rights activist Nelofer Pazira. Guaranteed to inspire and motivate, Victims 2 Victors will ignite positive change in your life.

    Sincerely yours,
    Barbara Stegemann
